How Poképad works
Poképad is a pump.fun-style launchpad on Solana where every coin is a Pokémon. It hatches at launch and evolves at market-cap milestones. Every trading fee buys $POKE and burns it. Hatch a coin in the app.
How it works
Every Pokémon, Generations I–IX
There are 541 Pokémon to choose from: every first form, plus every Pokémon that never evolves. Pokémon with one or two forms and ones that never evolve can all hatch. The same Pokémon can be hatched any number of times; each coin is its own token.
Branching Pokémon
For Pokémon like Eevee, the creator picks which way it evolves at launch, and that choice is locked.
Starting form
A creator can start a coin at a later form, for example a Pichu-line coin that starts as Pikachu. Pokémon that never evolve keep their name forever.
What changes when a coin evolves
The name, ticker and image update on-chain. The contract address never changes, so always verify a coin by its contract address.
Locked at launch
All forms, tickers and milestones are fixed when the coin is created. Nobody can rename it or add forms, including the creator and the team.
Evolving
Evolution is triggered by market cap only. The milestones are the same for every coin, and the creator doesn’t set them.
| Stage | When |
|---|---|
| Stage I | At launch. The coin hatches and trades on its bonding curve. |
| Stage II | Market cap holds above $20K for 5 minutes. |
| Stage III | Market cap holds above $100K for 5 minutes. |
Hold to evolve
Market cap has to stay above the milestone for 5 minutes. Dipping below resets the timer, so a quick pump can’t force an evolution. After graduation, the check uses Raydium’s average price over that window.
Once a coin is ready, anyone can press Evolve.
The milestones are fixed dollar market caps, $20K and $100K, the same for every coin. Graduation is different: it happens when the bonding curve fills (about 85 SOL raised), so its dollar value moves with SOL’s price.
Wallets and explorers cache metadata, so a freshly evolved coin can show its old name for a while.
Token and bonding curve
| Supply | Fixed at 1B. Minting and freezing are switched off at launch. |
| Curve | The same model as pump.fun. |
| Graduation | After about 85 SOL is raised, at around 410 SOL market cap. Liquidity moves to a Raydium pool and the LP tokens are burned. |
Graduation and evolution are separate. Graduation moves a coin to Raydium; evolution only ever comes from the market-cap milestones above.
Fees, buybacks and burns
| Trading fee | 1.25% on every buy and sell on the curve, the same as pump.fun. |
| Where it goes | 100% buys $POKE and burns it. No creator cut, no platform cut, no treasury. |
| Graduation fee | The 0.015 SOL graduation fee goes to the buyback too. |
| Fee route | 1 · Accrue on each token → 2 · Collect into the on-chain buyback vault → 3 · Sweep to the keeper wallet → 4 · Buy $POKE on pump.fun → 5 · Burn every token bought, in the same transaction. All automatic. |
| Graduation costs | The vault always keeps a small float of fees to pay Raydium’s pool-creation fee (about 0.2 SOL) when a coin graduates, so launches never cost anyone out of pocket. |
| Fee cap | The contract caps the fee at 2.5%. |
| $POKE address | DdmyGfcQHjcB4Nqrg87GXx1XB5ZniE71kAsePu79pump View on pump.fun ↗ · supply and burns live on the $POKE page in the app. Any other address claiming to be $POKE isn’t from us. |
Trust and safety
What the admin can do
- Pause launches and trading.
- Adjust the fee, within the 2.5% cap.
- Switch off a Pokémon for new launches.
What the admin can’t do
Touch any coin’s name, supply, curve or locked evolution milestones.
Not audited yet. The contracts haven’t been through an external audit.
Always verify a coin by its contract address. Names and tickers change when a coin evolves; the address never does.
